Tempo / Threshold

Tempo work sits at the edge of conversational pace. You can speak in short phrases but not full sentences. Hold it; don't push past it.
Path A · On-ramp
- 30 min walk with intervals:
- 5 min easy warmup, then 3 × 6 min of brisk uphill walking
- (2 min easy walk between segments)
- 5 min easy walk cooldown
Path B · Build
- 35 min run with intervals:
- 10 min easy warmup, then 3 × 6 min at comfortably hard tempo pace
- (2 min easy jog between segments)
- 5-10 min easy cooldown
